Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu A First Ascent Travel representative will pick you up at the Tribhuwan International airport in Kathmandu and transfer you to a hotel on B/B basis. After some refreshment in the hotel, you can visit the First Ascent Travel office to discuss the tour and trekking itinerary, required items and equipment and any further queries you have. You will also meet the team members and your guide for the trek. In the evening, we provide you with a welcome dinner with delicious Nepali cuisine. You can experiment with the Nepali delicacies that you will have more in the coming days.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara (6-7 hrs) We travel to Pokhara by automobile or van for 6-7 hours. You can enjoy your ride through the busy tea shops, terraced farms, high hills and mountains, and the magnificent Trishuli River sceneries. In the evening in Pokhara, you can freely walk around the lakeshore of Fewa lake and enjoy all types of cuisine and ambiance in the Lakeside. You can also hang around for interesting music at music bars, pubs, and ballrooms and then rest in Hotel Iceland.

Day 3: Trek from Kande to Pittam Deurali village (5 hrs) Have breakfast in Pokhara and then take a short 45-minute drive from Pokhara to Kande by van or car. The trek begins from Kande through the hills and local villages to the spot Pittem Deurali. You stay the night in the local lodge in Pittam Deurali .

Day 4: Walkthrough rhododendron forest till Low camp (6 hrs) This day is for exploring the wilderness through the forest trails. You can explore for wild birds and animals while walking through the forest jeweled by the beautiful rhododendron flowers, also known as ‘Lali guras’ locally. It is the national flower of Nepal found throughout the country at an elevation between 1400m to 3600m. You may also encounter wild deer and many types of exotic birds in the forest. In the evening, stay the night in one of the local lodges.

Day 5: Forest walk till high camp (6 hrs) We continue the walk through the low dense forest to the high camp. This way has a very close view of the towering Machapuchhare Himal. Have your lunch just beneath the majestic fish-tailed mountain in the Badal Dada and get ready to trek to high camp. The High camp point gives you the best view of the sunset or sunrise with mountains hovering just above the clouds. There are many more Himalayan ranges that you can view from this height. Stay the night in the High camp lodge.

Day 6: Hike to Mardi Himal base camp (3 hrs). Steep down to Low camp (5 hrs) After breakfast, we hike for about 3 hours to get to Mardi Himal base camp which is our final destination in this trek. The base camp also has a beautiful panoramic view of Himalayan mountain ranges like Annapurna (South), Hiunchuli, Mardi Himal and Machapuchhare. When we return from the base camp, we take the other route instead of getting back to Mardi base camp to get to Low camp.

Day 7: Downhill Walk to Siding village. (4 hrs) Walk through dense jungle with a variety of flowers, birds of 5 hrs, Stay the night in the wonderful Siding, situated at the top hill, surrounded by jungle, Mountain view, paddy fields & river sketch.

Day 8: Return to Pokhara by jeep (2 hrs) This is the final day of the trek.Descending drive from the solitary Siding village, we pass through river valleys and splendid waterfalls and the Luwang village. From the way at the northern cliff, we can see the Mardi Himal, Annapurna III and Machapucchare extending along with other small snow-capped mountains. After reaching Pokhara can rest and freshen up in the hotel. Stay the night at Hotel Kuti /Hotel Island or similar as per B/B plan.

Day 9: Pokhara to Kathmandu (6 hrs) We return through the same highway that is guided by the blue rivers and green hills. You might notice some interesting things like small shops, locals, and travelers along the way which you may have missed earlier. The visual of the mountains and river winding along the curvatures is never enough for the sight. It pleases our eyes every little turn. You can rest in the Kathmandu hotel or take a stroll around to enjoy the nightlife of Kathmandu.

Day 10: Free day in Kathmandu & Departure. After a long trek, this day deserves to rest in Kathmandu. There are saunas and spas to treat your body after a treacherous trip that may have caused soreness in your muscles. Nevertheless, if your body is fit enough to see more of Nepal, you can visit the museums in Kathmandu boasting of historical eras, or take a stroll around Thamel to buy some souvenirs.We bid you farewell in your final day in Nepal.
